BBC Good Food Show
Join BBC Good Food Show London for the capital’s tastiest day out
The capital’s largest food show returns to Olympia on the 13-15th November, and this year visitors will receive two shows for the price of one. Every ticket to the BBC Good Food Show London, sponsored by Lexus, gives free access to the BBC Good Food Bakes & Cakes Show, subject to capacity. The BBC Good Food Bakes & Cakes Show is the perfect day for baking enthusiasts, full of inspiration, entertainment, masterclasses and shopping.
The country’s most renowned chefs and experts will be demonstrating their skills and recipes in the Supertheatre, sponsored by Kenwood. Stars appearing include: Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, Tom Kerridge and Michel Roux Jr.
The BBC Good Food Show London will also host a star-studded line-up on this year’s Winter Kitchen Stage, including Ben Tish, Shelina Permalloo and Sabrina Ghayour with a series of expert live demonstrations. Visitors will be inspired by a range of delicious winter wonders, learning great tips and techniques from some of the country’s finest.
Visitors can have their culinary queries answered by the chefs attending the Show, with a friendly grilling on the Interview Stage, sponsored by Lakeland, and share the secrets of their success. In addition, the Book Shop run by WHSmith features a large collection of the latest and popular cook books at great Show prices. Visitors can pop along and make a purchase, and take the opportunity to have it signed by the chefs themselves.
Visitors can stock up on the best of speciality food and artisan produce in the Producers’ Village, a huge food market, packed with small producers who pride themselves on the quality and provenance of their produce. Don’t miss the hand-picked selection of outstanding artisan producers in the BBC Good Food Champions area. Each exhibitor has gone through an application process to ensure their offering is of the highest quality and will excite and delight visitors. If visitors are after something a little bit special then they can visit the Great Taste Market at the show and try and buy products with the stamp of approval. Or perhaps, visitors are hoping to enjoy the gastronomic joys of France? BBC Good Food Shows have teamed up with the fabulous Mer et Vigne event organisers to bring visitors a bustling French market at the heart of the show.
And for visitors with a healthy appetite for good food, they’ll love the Eat Well Pavillion. Packed with healthy food products and new ideas to create delicious, nutritious dishes. After all this shopping, visitors can make full use of The Shop & Drop supported by Guide Dogs for the Blind, where they can drop off their shopping for collection later, leaving them free to relax and enjoy the Show.
The BBC Good Food Shows team has been searching the UK and Ireland to find the most outstanding artisan food and drink producers. The Producers’ Bursary Awards called for applications from small artisan producers with companies carefully shortlisted and all entries tasted at the BBC Good Food Test Kitchens by a team of experts. Visitors to the show will be able to meet, taste and buy from this year’s impressive winners, including gourmet marshmallows inspired by London locations from The London Marshmallow Company and cordials hand-made from foraged and locally sourced fruits and herbs from The Urban Cordial Company.
There is so much to taste at the BBC Good Food Show London this November. Visitors can enjoy a sit down dining experience at one of the pop up restaurants at the Show, including Blue Elephant’s exotic Thai spices and Indian cuisine with a European twist from Café Spice Namaste. Alternatively, visitors can sample dishes inspired by recipes from bbcgoodfood.com at the BBC Good Food Kitchen or discover street food feasts inspired by some of London’s most popular vendors. In addition, The Tasting Theatre, sponsored by Lindt Excellence, is the place to taste and learn from top wine and food experts. Visitors can enjoy Chocolate & Wine Pairing Demonstrations from Lindt, Savoury Choux Delights and Wine Masterclasses from Le Cordon Bleu or Wine Tasting from a host of wine experts, including Peter Richards and Jane Parkinson.
If visitors are keen for a tipple during the day, there’s plenty to choose from. Incorporated within the show, The Wine Cellar is the ultimate destination for wine lovers and the perfect place to stock up for the festive season and explore wines from across the globe. Placed alongside this, the Craft Beer Corner is the perfect location for visitors to discover a unique collection of small batch brews. The area allows beer enthusiasts to sample and discover new tastes from Britain’s leading craft breweries. In addition, visitors can join a 30-min Cocktails at Home Masterclass and learn how to make incredible tasting, party-starting festive drinks in just a few simple steps. Cocktail gurus Tom & Frankie will get visitors making delicious drinks using easy to access ingredients that they can re-create at home.
